In a statement from the White House, the US government confirmed that a 25% tariff on goods imported from Canada and Mexico, with a new 10% on goods from China, will be announced on February 1st, 2025.
No details as of yet have been released on how the new tariffs will be implemented or if any industries or goods will be exempt.
