On Monday October 9th, 2019, the US and Japan finalized a limited trade agreement.
The agreement will reportedly decrease tariffs on American agricultural products into Japan. It will also lower tariffs for Japanese industrial goods to enter into the US.
This is good news for American farmers, ranchers and growers who will now be able to import their products into Japan at a decreased tariff rate.
